I hope everyone enjoyed a restful and joyful Christmas break. We concluded the second quarter on a strong note, and I look forward to carrying that momentum into the third quarter.
There are many exciting events ahead this month, with Catholic Schools Week serving as a major highlight. This special week celebrates the value of Catholic education and will include a variety of activities throughout the school community. We will begin the week with a student-led Mass, followed by our Open House, the Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast, and the CLC bake sale.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to those who have already generously donated to the Diocese of Toledo Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO). Your support helps reduce tuition costs for our families and makes a meaningful difference in our community. We continue to ask that you prayerfully consider making a donation, especially given the benefit of the available tax credit—it truly is a win-win opportunity.
Finally, I would like to offer a special thank you to Courtney Miller, Jessica Constien, Bryan Pino, and Morgan Amos for stepping up as a team to lead the planning of our annual auction. As our largest fundraiser of the year, the auction plays a vital role in supporting our school, and we are grateful for their willingness to take on this important responsibility.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community.

Thank you so much to all those who donated to the Diocese of Toledo Scholarship Fund (SGO) this past tax season. Over $10,000 was designated directly for St. Peter School to help reduce the cost of tuition for several families. As we near the end of this calendar year, we encourage you to consider taking advantage of this tax credit opportunity to help make it possible for students in our community to receive a Catholic Education at little to no cost. Scan the QR code above for more information. If you have any questions, please reach out to the school office.
The Diocese has also chosen to improve the application process for families by eliminating the need to apply through the Diocese SGO website. Instead, each school is able to determine their own application process while continuing to prioritize families with lower income. St. Peter School will run a report from the EdChoice Portal sorting it by Federal Poverty Level to determine students in greatest need and award SGO funds to families who indicate additional financial need on their Tuition Agreements for the school year. The award amounts may fluctuate each year as it depends on the amount of funds donated during each tax season. |
